Sometimes my eye just gets caught by light a color or a pattern. Often a combination of these factors will set me off shooting. Calm water brings the opportunity for reflections that can amplify the effect on the eye.

Many of these images were taken near my New Jersey home, but there are others from Italy, British Columbia, Tanzania, Belize, Uganda, Croatia, the British Virgin Islands, Alaska, and South Africa.
